NEW LOOK DRESS // H&M CARDIGAN // STRAWBERRY VANS LACE UPS // PEPPERMINT PUFF NECKLACE* // HANDMADE POPPY HEADBAND // PRIMARK STRAWBERRY RING // MISCHA BARTON CAMERA BAG // ASOS BUNNY WATCH
On Friday I went to a local funfair with my boyfriend, & afterwards we took outfit photos in a nearby orchard. Please excuse my dishevelled hair/makeup, spinning round & round on rides was very fun, but next time I should take photos beforehand :p I wore my new necklace from Peppermint Puff, which I teamed with lots of old stuff, my trusty H&M Inclusive cardigan (I actually own 2 of these, I love it so much!), and a summer dress from New Look a few years ago.
As we were taking photos, a lady walking past with her dog offered to take one of the two of us, so I took her up on her offer. It was really lovely of her, I rarely appear in photos with other people!
Carl won me a teddy at the fair, his name is Jeremy :)
There were blackberries & also some elderberries growing in the orchard, yummy!
My lovely photographer ♥ (Thank you again!)
Hope you all are having/had an awesome bank holiday weekend, I shall try & post again soon, I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of posting more.

Recently I was lucky enough to be sent something to review by the lovely Cassia, who is the creative girl behind a little UK based indie company called Peppermint Puff. Cassia makes adorable jewellery, which I think are mostly one of kind pieces.
I chose this necklace & it arrived promptly, packaged adorably, in a pink box with ribbon & a cellophane bag with little red hearts on it. I also got a little pink bag with a few extras in, as well as stickers & business cards. I've already decorated my stereo with the stickers, haha!
The necklace itself is lovely, & just as good as it looked in the photo. It is slightly chunkier than I was expecting, but I actually really like that. I don't have enough chunky jewellery! The necklace itself is a cameo style, with a picture of Snow white in the centre, covered by a glossy resin oval. The chain is beaded, with plastic pearls & star bead. It's adjustable, which is something I always appreciate with jewellery, because sometimes necklaces & the like can come up small. This necklace fits me like a choker, without using the extension, & a bit a longer with it. I am really pleased & can't wait to style this with an outfit!
If you like cute stuff like me & also like supporting small businesses, you should definitely check out Cassia's shop here. The prices are reasonable (having an accessory shop myself, I know how pricy the cute plastic-ky craft supplies can get!), the prices in the shop are listed in dollars, but I think this necklace was around the £15 mark. Look out for an outfit post with me wearing it soon!

NEW LOOK DRESS // (HAND EMBELLISHED) SOUTH CARDIGAN // SOUTH SKIRT // ASOS SHOES // CHEAP FRILLS NECKLACE // TED BAKER RING // DOLLY DARLING DEER HEADBAND // BAG FROM A GIFT SHOP IN NORTH WALES
Well, I promised to take more pics of the cardigan I needle felted, not sure if these constitute better though - they are blurrier than I anticipated. Must have turned the f stop on the camera too low-oops! You get the idea though! Just wore a lot of older stuff, nothing new here for a change. Although the cardigan felt like new because of the flowers I added. I've been doing some more needle felting, I made some stand-alone pieces yesterday, not 3d, but still cute. I should probably take pictures to show you all.
The dogs were fascinated to watch me having outfit pictures taken, don't they look adorable?!
Button didn't want to miss his opportunity for stardom either, hehe.

So, I mentioned in my last post that I was going to try needle felting for the first time. I thought I'd report back with a little post on it (I did mean to do this post earlier in the week, but my boyfriend has recently got me into Minecraft & I may be slightly addicted to it now!).
♥ ♥ ♥
I actually decided to needle felt flowers onto a cardigan that I've had plans to embellish for ages now, which is an angora blend one. I'm not sure how well needle felting goes on materials that aren't actual wool, but plan to try out different materials in the future.
I suck at getting a good picture, but plan to include it in an outfit post in the very near future, so you can see it better. I am really pleased with the results, I don't think it's too bad for my first try. It was very easy though, you basically just stab bits of wool roving with a special needle & it felts them onto the fabric, pushing the wool through the fabric to attach it. You can sort of see in the pic above, the back of some of the flowers - they just look like fluffy bits of coloured wool on the reverse of the cardigan.
♥ ♥ ♥
There are lots of tutorials online, I plan to try 3d felting next, which seems more complicated, but hopefully won't be too bad! Not a bad way to jazz up old clothes though - easy & quite relaxing. Just be careful not to stab yourself with the needles (like I did...several times! Eeek!).

SOUTH @ VERY DRESS // LE BUNNY BLEU SHOES // TOPSHOP SOCKS // CINNAMOROLL BAG FROM EBAY (ALTERED FROM BACKPACK) // DOLLY DARLING DEER HEADBAND // DOLLY DARLING MALLOW BANGLE // HANDMADE BRACELET // SUGAR BUNNY WATCH FROM EBAY // SOUTH @ VERY CARDIGAN // KITTY BROOCH - GIFT FROM LILLIAN & CLAIRE // HANDMADE BELT // HANDMADE GIRL RING
Went out to a local market today, but it wasn't that great, so ended up going to Hobbycraft & buying lots of stuff there instead! I picked up some wool (going to crochet myself a cardigan -hopefully, anyway!), & some needle-felting supplies, which I have wanted to try forever, so am finally going to learn!
Anyway, I wore my usual over the top cute style outfit, complete with Sanrio characters & my own deer headband. I also redid my hair, thought I'd try a dip-dye this time, seeing as I had some purple dye left over from last time. I did it a bit brighter than wanted, purely because purple seems to fade so fast!
Wearing my super cute brooch again, this was a gift from the lovely Lillian and Claire, who run Callooh & Callay. How adorable is it? It's so sad & adorable looking, hehe!
Until next time ♥ Maybe I'll update you on my needle felting progress, if I've made any.

ASOS DRESS // ASOS SHOES // H&M CARDIGAN // PRIMARK BAG // ASOS BELT // DOLLY DARLING, PRIMARK & EVANS RINGS // AND SMILE FOX BROOCH VIA MAMASAN* // VINTAGE BOW BROOCH
Today I went out wearing a dress that I recently purchased from ASOS. It's a bit longer than I'd normally wear, but I couldn't resist the detailed embroidery & lacey-ness of it, hehe! I might take it up from the waist at some point, but not sure I can be bothered right this minute.
My adorable fox brooch is by And Smile, & was kindly sent to me by the lovely Cindy of Mama San, who stock all sorts of lovely things by independent designers. How sweet is his little face, though?
