ASOS DRESS // VERY SHOES // VINTAGE GLOVES // WE LOVE COLORS TIGHTS IN IVORY // H&M HAIR BOW // NEXT BOW BROOCH // ROMWE COLLAR // FUZZY NATION BAG
I picked up the dress the day it was released on ASOS. I'd seen pics of it in preview snapshots on other blogs & have been (not so) patiently waiting for it to land on the site, haha. Of course, now it's on sale, so I really should have waited, but oh well! I also wore some shoes I bought ages ago, but haven't had a chance to wear out yet, they are in fact children's shoes. I have quite a few pairs of kid shoes, I normally wear a size 6, which often comes under the child section.
Today we actually went back to that vintage shop that I went to last month, I really should have taken pictures, everything is gorgeous! I can't remember if I said before, but there are several sections filled up by different people, & have a mixture of handmade & vintage goods for sale. I picked up these crochet gloves, because I've always wanted a pair & I felt they were quite reasonably priced, at £8.50.
There was also a cute vintage cardigan & shirt I saw, but I wasn't sure if they'd have fitted, although they looked like they would have. I kinda regret not buying them now, I could have just resold them if they hadn't fit! The cardigan was peachy, with mohair. The shirt was cropped, with heart lace details. Hmm, maybe they will still be there next time I go!

MISS REAL CURVE DRESS // PRIMARK CARDIGAN // PRIMARK BAG // CLARKS SHOES* // HANDMADE HEADBAND // PRIMARK SOCKS // CHEAP FRILLS BUNNY BROOCH // DOLLY DARLING OH DEER BROOCH // HAND EMBELLISHED WE LOVE COLORS TIGHTS (PEACH) // AUDREY KAWASAKI ART BROOCH
Today I wore a few of the new bits I picked up last week, along with the dress that matches the skirt I wore a while ago. I found this cute cardigan with pearl embellished collar in Primark & decided to at least see if it would fit (I got a size 20). Obviously, it did & as it was only £14, I decided to get it. I also picked up the bag (£8!) & the socks (£1.50?) whilst I was there, along with a few other accessories.
Added gems to my new glasses...I think I like them better now?
You've seen my bunny brooch a lot, but I'm not sure if I've ever worn my Audrey Kawasaki one before. She is on of my favourite artists, so when she made these brooches a few years back, I snapped on up, but have never got around to wearing it before now. Three brooches may be overkill, but oh well!
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my deer headbands in my last post, I have been making lots recently, so thanks for the support!

I did mean to update today with an outfit post, but it started pouring when I was out & couldn't get pics! I was wearing this outfit, an instagram shot is all I have. Typically it was sunny when I got dressed, so I wore my new handmade crop top, but then the weather changed, even though it's now back to sunshine:(

Anywaaaay, I went out shopping this morning, but the rest of the day I have been working, making & packing orders, & I also managed to finally get around to making the floral deer headband in 2 new colours, a minty green & a baby blue. There are now 5 colourways of the deer headband, which I am really happy about. Please let me know if you would like to see any new colours & what they are!
Hope you are having an awesome weekend! x

GLOOMTH DRESS* // NEXT SHOES // HANDMADE HEADBAND // WELOVECOLORS TIGHTS // HANDMADE BRACELET // ACCESSORIZE NECKLACE
The lovely Taeden, who runs Gloomth.com, sent me this cute sailor dress months ago. It was custom made for me, but I had to do some slight alterations before I could wear it. The sleeves were a bit big before, so I had to shorten & make them slightly smaller. The dress is a babydoll style, but I wore it with a sash in most of these pictures, because I felt it suits me better. You can see in the pic above how it hangs normally though. I think it's really cute & I love that custom sizing is offered, even if the dress needed slight alterations. I've always wanted a sailor style dress too, so I am extra pleased!

Also - eek, I have new glasses! I think they look a bit weird, not entirely sure if I like them yet, haha! They were vintage deadstock from Etsy & I got them glazed at Ciliary Blue, who were great & had them sent back to me within a day. I did try sending them to another opticians, but they wouldn't reglaze them as they were vintage, so I was really pleased to find somewhere that did (& for only £25!).
