Evans Spring Collection

I guess most of you have seen the preview images of the Evans Spring collection, but I wanted to add my opinions to the mix. :)
I have mixed feelings about the items I have seen, some I love, but others I dislike. These are my favourites, the other things I have seen I am not overly keen on, but I guess that is just my personal taste. I know others are raving about how "on trend" the items are, but I don't tend to follow trends, I just like to wear what I like. (I have been falling for the nude colourway & underwear as outerwear this season though).
I really want the see through gingham dress, the nude empire line dress and the floral trimmed shorts! Will definately be keeping my eye out for when they arrive on the website. I'll probably take a miss on the floral dress as it is a bit too high necked for my liking. Hopefully Evans will have a few more cute things up their sleeves, and I can spend lots of money! :D
I also wanted to say- where are the skirts Evans?!?!?! I love skirts, and have been waiting what seems like forever to find some cute ones on Evans. They only have 1 skirt for sale atm that isn't past the knee, and I already own it! I am quite disappointed, I wish this preview would have shown some nice skirts. Dresses are lovely, but what am I meant to wear with all my tops? :(
Let me know what you think!

Skirt - Evans Tights - BBW Shoes - Rocketdog Top - Frock and Frill Cardigan - Evans Necklace - Accessorize

Actually this outfit is from yesterday, but I think the blog needs some photos! This cute top arrived the other day, it's from Frock and Frill @Simply Be, from their spring preview collection. The bird print, tiny polka dots and bow mean I am officially in love with it! It's a camisole style, so perfect for spring/summer! As it is still winter though, I wore a cardigan, didn't want to freeze to death in frosty England.

The shoes and necklace were also new. I had to get this necklace when I saw it in the Accessorize store - virtually every username I have is related to cupcakes, if it isn't "Cupcake". The shoes were a bargain, they only cost me £6, reduced from £30 in Barratts. And look, velvet! And bows!

About Me

Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Georgina, I am 24 years old & I live in England. Hobbies include, art, crafts & anything inbetween. I run an online jewellery store called Dolly Darling, do check it out if you love whimsical handmade accessories!

I decided to start this blog after being a regular poster on the Fatshionista LiveJournal community. Finding that community changed my whole outlook on life, I was fat (still am) & unhappy with myself (not so much now). I was amazed to find a place where fat people celebrated their bodies, instead of being ashamed. This was the first I had heard of Fat Acceptance. I started off by posting 1 outfit, then more & more as I wasn't hated just for being fat. My confidence grew & grew, until I decided to start a blog so I could have my own space showcasing outfits.

My confidence has grown tenfold over the past few years, just by posting photos of myself & showing off my outfits. My style is very unique, I love to mix & match key trends with my own cute/quirky twist. Not everyone will like it, but it is inherently me & I love dressing only for myself! I love lace, bows, velvet & fur. My wardrobe is a rainbow of colours, I love most things from neutrals to brights!
